Don't miss the International Festival of Puppet Theater in Jerusalem which is offering loads of wonderful shows  including some of the old faithfuls, “Pirate in the Bath,” ”The Legend of Chelm – Fool Moon,” “Butterfly Kiss,”  “Corderoy,” and many more. Look out for the FREE shows in the evenings at the Khan Theater.

Tel Aviv is overflowing with things to do with kids this August in air-conditioned buildings, aah.  Lots of plays and workshops to attend.  I especially like the sound of "Forming Families" at Beit Hatfutzot - Create your family portrait using materials from daily life to represent a story that defines your family.  You receive a copy of the portrait and the original will be put on display at the museum.
